Dementia is becoming ever more prevalent in older people as we start to live longer. Unfortunately, dementia is a progressive disorder, which means its symptoms typically worsen over time, eventually affecting a person’s ability to function independently, their mood and personality, and their understanding of the world. Our dedicated Caregivers undergo extensive dementia care training and go out of their way to provide calm reassurance and sympathetic support. We tailor our dementia care plans to match individual needs, and regularly work with wider healthcare teams to ensure our provision is seamless and consistent. All care plans are reviewed on a regular basis, to reflect the progressive nature of dementia.
